The ASEAN Youth Volunteer Programme (AYVP) is the permanent secretariat based in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (The National University of Malaysia - UKM) under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia with the support of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and is a dedicated youth volunteerism platform that creates opportunities for knowledge-driven volunteerism, support the exchange of learning experience , develop capacity, enhance cross-cultural understanding, and forge a sense of regional identity while making a sustainable difference to communities across ASEAN. Read More...

Current Programmes

The ASEAN Youth Volunteer Programme (AYVP) 2017 will be organised for the fifth time this year which it will be held on 1st until 26th August 2017 in  Indonesia focusing on the thematic area of the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). This programme, developed and implemented by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (The National University of Malaysia – UKM), with the support of the ASEAN Secretariat, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia, and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with Institut Teknologi Bandung (Institute of Technology Bandung – ITB).Read More...
